I loveeeee this . As a high schooler I would always shave shave shave and that fear you felt in the locker room , I mirrored that in school too . I thought it was horrible and ugly but as I got older I realized I didn’t mind my pubes and neither did previous partners . One day my sister said to me when we were in a gym locker room you better shave that bush as if there was something wrong with it . This was so refreshing to read . From one bush to another 👍🏾
I adored this. As someone who hasn’t bothered removing body hair since graduating college - it’s amazed me for a while whenever friends speak of ingrowns, sugaring, waxing, and the like - we do (spend) so much to alter what is so natural and truly more comfortable to maintain.
Reading this also reminded me of a time in middle school when my mom didn’t allow me to shave and i raised my hand in class and a friend told me to put my arm down before someone saw my hair. Sad to think we all have some version of the “wolf pussy” story 😭
All I think about is that scene in the SATC movie where Samantha calls out Miranda for not shaving 😂
Samantha would hate to see my bush coming!!!!!
🤣 REAL
Thank you deeply for this, I’m a reformed waxer because of my naked bush mom and it’s nice to be seen in this era 😭🤎
You and your bush are SEEN here 🙂↕️🫶🏾
I'm about to get my first wax soon! This was a surprisingly helpful and amazingly hilarious read <3 love love love

So sad how we learn that shame so young and even teach it to each other! I’m glad we’re able to grow past that. 🫶🏾
